Context:

As part of its development, Redbird has signed a marketing agreement with the Group Caterpillar for the EMEA area, to provide distributors and Caterpillar customers’ technological solutions developed by Redbird.

Redbird recruits a Business Developer for a 6 month training period to help us implement this partnership in the German market of the construction and mineral industry (Mines & Quarries).

Job description:

Within the EMEA Sales team, you will take part of the growth of our company by networking with potential customers to develop new business in Germany. You will handle a wide range of missions:

  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Implementing a business action plan to develop Redbird’s notoriety in the German market and implement and efficient Sales strategy
  • Sales: win deals in Germany
  • Channel development and support: Develop our network of partners in Germany and support them accordingly
  • Customer Project Manager & Success: Be in charge of the delivery of the project sold in Germany, engage actively new customers
  • You'll maintain your knowledge of our product and services to provide the best possible service to our valued customers.
  • The successful applicant should be educated in a building and civil-engineering school, energetic, self-motivated, hands-on and willing to take the initiative. Knowledge of the mineral or construction industry will be an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, presentation and organizational skills
  • Ability to sell
  • Demonstrate persistence, creativity and determination to get things done
  • German-monther tongue and English-fluent. French is a plus
  • Knowledge in Surveying Geomatics is appreciated

Commercial drones are changing the way we do our jobs, how we collect information and how we better our world. We’re looking for a Sales Engineer to provide an immediate impact on company sales by generating new business through customer acquisition and driving existing customer success. The position will drive and accelerate the company’s inbound and outbound sales activity while contributing to the success of Redbird’s Business Development initiatives.
